MORE! is what you get when you combine a funky 15 piece big band of trumpets, trombones, saxes, a rhythm section of guitar, bass, piano, drums and percussion with synthesizers plus innovative arrangements of favorite R&B and pop songs from back in the day.
These favorites include Heard It Through The Grapevine, Get Here, People Make The World Go Round, Living For The City and many others.
MORE! is the vision and creation of guitarist and arranger Don Tipton. The MORE! vision is brought to life by some of today’s finest, most accomplished musicians including Grammy winner Edsel Gomez (keyboards),Cecil Bridgewater (trumpet), Freddy Hendrix (trumpet ), Duane Eubank (Trumpet ) and Jimmy Cozier (saxophone).
Collectively they have traveled around the world with some of the best bands, big, small, jazz, pop, r&b, broadway shows, and more. They are frontmen and women, sidemen and women, and everything in between.
